Tackling poverty through jobs & opportunities - Not handouts
The endless cycle of malnutrition and disease maybe the result of poverty, but the root cause of poverty in rural Africa and Asia is a lack of jobs and opportunities.
The aim of Development Trust is to alleviate poverty through projects which create jobs and opportunities, and give breadwinners the dignity of earning a living and not rely on handouts.
Although the primary focus of this UK based charity is development projects in Africa and Asia, it also supports emergency and disaster relief work through local partner organisations.
